Answer your community in Discord with your own AI assistant

Add our app to your Discord server and your AI assistant answers there from your website's data, with the same answers, character and rules as the chat button on your site. It answers when someone mentions it, replies to it, writes to it directly or uses /ask. We host it: there is no bot to run.

What you need

  • A website or Shopify store set up with us, on a paid plan (Basic, Standard, Elite or Enterprise). Sign up with your e-mail if you have not yet.
  • The Manage Server permission on the Discord server, to add an app to it.

Add it in one click

  1. In your dashboard, open Your assistant in Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp and press Add to Discord.
  2. Discord asks which server to add it to and shows the permissions it needs: view channels, send messages, read message history and change its nickname (it takes your character's name in your server). Choose your server and press Authorize.
  3. Back in the dashboard, Discord shows as connected with your server's name.
  4. In your server, mention the bot with a question, or type /ask and your question.

One server answers for one store. To move the assistant to another server, press Disconnect in the dashboard first. Private channels: the bot only sees them once you add it (or its role) in the channel's permissions.

Where it answers

  • Mentions and replies: in any channel the bot can see, when someone mentions it or replies to one of its messages.
  • /ask: anyone in the server can type /ask with a question; the answer appears right below it.
  • Direct messages: members who have asked in your server can also write to the bot directly.
  • Every message in chosen channels: where this is offered, you can list support channels in which it answers every message.

When a person is needed

When the assistant is not sure, or a member asks for a person, it says so and gives your contact address, and your team is told as usual, marked “via Discord”. Answer from Slack, Discord or Telegram and your reply appears in the same Discord channel, marked as coming from your team.

Which plans include the Discord bot?

Every paid plan: Basic $19 a month for 90 conversations, Standard $59 for 275, Elite $199 for 1,000 and Enterprise $1,099 for 6,000. Conversations in Discord come out of the same monthly allowance as your chat button. See pricing.

Does it read every message in my server?

No. It only receives messages that mention it, reply to it or are sent to it directly, and /ask. Answering every message in chosen channels needs Discord's message content permission, and only applies to the channels you list.

Is it the same app that sends us hand-off requests?

Yes, the same app does both: your team's channel gets the requests, and your customers' channels get the answers.
